Bernadette Di Re

CEO, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Massachusetts

Bernadette Di Re has more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning, operations, marketing and product development in healthcare management.  Bernadette joined the UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Community Plan of Massachusetts in 2011 as the COO and became the Health Plan CEO in late 2013; until recently, she also was responsible for the UHC Rhode Island Community Plan, one of the “highest-rated” plans in the nation per NCQA’s Medicaid Health Insurance Plan Ratings. In Massachusetts, Bernadette oversees UHC’s Senior Care Options (SCO) product, a fully integrated dual eligible special needs plan (FIDESNP), that is the largest SCO and one of the original SCOs created in 2004. UHC SCO serves approximately 20,000 elderly individuals with complex health conditions through the deployment of more than 350 clinicians and care managers who see members in both community and institutional settings.  Bernadette is a board member and treasurer of the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans, a volunteer mentor and frequent speaker with Women UNLIMITED, Inc., and a member of Women in Healthcare Management. She has presented at national and local industry events focused on Long Term Care, Long Term Services and Supports, caregiver programs and integrated Medicare/Medicaid products. Bernadette received her MBA in International Business from The American University and BS in Marketing from Georgetown University.

Transfers, Cancellations and Refunds Policy
Registrants may transfer their registration to another person at any time by notifying Alona Nenko (anenko@healthmanagement.com) in writing. Cancellations must be made in writing to Lindsey Beck (lbeck@healthmanagement.com). Refunds minus a 20% service charge are available for cancellations received in writing 45 days or more prior to the start of the conference. No refunds are available thereafter.
