Brad Lucas, MD

Dr. Brad Lucas joined Buckeye Health Plan in 2005 and currently serves as Senior Medical Director. Dr. Lucas helps Buckeye and parent corporation Centene build programs that reduce the rates of preterm birth, low birth rate, and infant mortality.

He has helped to build and guide Centene’s award-winning programs Start Smart for Your Baby®, its addiction in pregnancy program and preterm birth prevention programs. His expertise is critical to the development and implementation of programs that improve clinical outcomes and ensure high-quality care across all medical conditions for Buckeye members.

Dr. Lucas remains active in community outreach that impacts mothers and families in Ohio. He serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Ohio Collaborative to Prevent Infant Mortality and co-chairs the Promoting Women’s Health Before, During, and After Pregnancy Workgroup, for the Collaborative.

Dr. Lucas is a member of the national advisory council for the Pathways Community HUB Institute.

Completing his OB/GYN residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Dr. Lucas is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. As a Board certified physician, he continues his clinical care at Rapid Medical Research in Cleveland.

Transfers, Cancellations and Refunds Policy

Registrants may transfer their registration to another person at any time by notifying Lis Diaz (ldiaz@healthmanagement.com) in writing. Cancellations must be made in writing to Lindsey Beck (lbeck@healthmanagement.com). Refunds minus a 20% service charge are available for cancellations received in writing 45 days or more prior to the start of the conference. No refunds are available thereafter.
