As a Regional Vice President for Aetna Medicaid, a CVS Health company, Deb Bacon oversees Medicaid health plans in Arizona, California, Kansas, Kentucky and Texas. She is accountable for financial performance, growth, member outcomes and operational effectiveness, including quality, compliance and state contract requirements. Ms. Bacon is also responsible for new business growth and expansion, as well as key stakeholder and community relationships.
Ms. Bacon brings a wide range of industry experience to her role, including strategic, financial and operational leadership, and public accounting and consulting. She has deep expertise in health care, particularly in Medicaid — traditional and high-acuity programs.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Bacon served in various roles with Aetna, first as a Finance Director, next as a Regional CFO, and then as the CFO of Aetna Medicaid. In these positions, she supported segment strategy, growth, financial reporting and planning processes. She also served as CFO for Children’s Hospital of Orange County Health Alliance (CHOC), a health network formerly administered by Aetna Medicaid. Her responsibilities included financial reporting and analysis, regulatory reporting, rate negotiations and client relations.
Ms. Bacon is a certified public accountant. She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s in professional accountancy from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Cancellations must be made in writing to Lindsey Beck (email@example.com). Refunds minus a 20% service charge are available for cancellations received in writing 45 days or more prior to the start of the conference. No refunds are available thereafter.
