Dr. Michael Todaro currently serves as Vice President of Pharmacy Operations at Magnolia Health in Jackson Mississippi. His responsibilities involve the development, implementation and oversight of the pharmacy benefit management program across multiple product lines in both centralized and regional environments with multiple locations. Dr. Todaro works to oversee the pharmacy operations for the business unit, including prior authorization, drug utilization review programs, lock in programs, and plan specific medical management initiatives. This includes the evaluation of program performance and correspondence to state agencies on program changes that would result in improved costs and higher quality. He works to formulate and administer related organizational policies and procedures, including pharmacy service quality, pharmacy utilization management and achievement of company goals for pharmacy and medical programs. Dr. Todaro strives to ensure compliance with contractual guidelines of the corporation and health plans impacted by numerous regulatory agencies with complex and often conflicting requirements. He also participates in internal and external accreditation initiatives, relevant boards, task forces, committees, meetings and other activities.
Prior to joining Magnolia Health, Dr. Todaro served as Administrator of Clinical Support Services, Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. In this role, Dr. Todaro provided leadership, direction, and management for the Department of Pharmacy services, Radiation Oncology services, Department of Bone Marrow Transplant, Cancer Institute infusion services as well as Outpatient infusion therapy centers. He had oversight of the management of financial and quality standards effecting improvement plans and initiatives. Monitoring clinical and operational effectiveness, Dr. Todaro worked with the management team and medical center leadership to attain quality goals and objectives while establishing and implementing short and long range organization goals, strategic plans, policies and operating procedures implementing changes as necessary.
Dr. Todaro is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he attended pharmacy school and obtained his Doctorate of Pharmacy in 1999.

Transfers, Cancellations and Refunds Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to Lindsey Beck (firstname.lastname@example.org). Refunds minus a 20% service charge are available for cancellations received in writing 45 days or more prior to the start of the conference. No refunds are available thereafter.
