David has over 36 years of health care management and business development experience with disproportionate share health care providers and investor-owned enterprises. He has successfully completed several hospital turnarounds; participated in development of a number of provider owned health plans; lead development of successful provider collaborations that address medical and public health needs; opened and licensed new community-based services and long-term acute care hospitals; completed an array of medical practice acquisitions and lead government and community affairs for several hospitals and health systems. He is currently Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Illinois Health Practice Alliance an innovative, provider owned, behavioral health independent practice association that has negotiated three value-based managed care contracts that have demonstrated significant health outcome improvements and total cost of care savings.
