Eric Cragun is the Executive Director of Government Programs and Interim Executive Director for Commercial Products for Intermountain Health’s Proactive Care Support Services division. In his role, Eric leads Intermountain’s efforts to succeed in risk-based contracts with government and commercial payers. This includes guiding strategy in Medicare and Medicaid programs, managing participation, and collaborating with operations teams to drive performance. Eric has experience managing participation in a range of value-based care arrangements including ACO REACH, the Medicare Shared Savings Program, Bundled Payments for Care Improvement – Advanced, and Medicare Advantage arrangements with private payers. Eric has helped lead Intermountain’s ACO to become one of the top ACOs in the nation on both financial and quality measures. Eric also contributes his expertise to national and state health policy discussions.
Prior to joining Intermountain, Eric led health policy consulting for Advisory Board, serving as an advisor to executives at health systems around the country. Eric earned an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
