Jessica Plazewski serves as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of SalusCare, a nonprofit behavioral health organization based in Fort Myers, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Forensic Studies and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. Jessica is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP), and a Certified Behavioral Health Case Management Supervisor (CBHCMS).
In 2023, Jessica was recognized as one of the Business Observer’s 40 Under 40, honoring emerging leaders who have demonstrated professional excellence and community impact.
Jessica began her career with SalusCare in 2008 as an intern and has advanced through progressive leadership roles to become Chief Operating Officer. Throughout her tenure, she has been instrumental in expanding behavioral health services, advancing organizational growth, and strengthening operational effectiveness. Her work has focused on reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and substance use disorders through direct patient care, strategic program development, system transformation, and innovative operational leadership.
