Mary C. Mayhew

As President and CEO of the Florida Hospital Association since 2020, Mary C. Mayhew has focused the organization’s efforts to transform the delivery of health care to support a modern, sophisticated system that can respond to the evolving needs of Florida’s citizens and visitors alike. A champion for innovation, Mayhew is a tireless advocate for the funding of community-based mental health services and evidence-based models of care that integrate physical and mental health. Mayhew’s more than 30-year career spans public and private sector roles and combines experience and expertise in government relations, executive leadership, regulatory oversight, public affairs, and public policy.
