Tasha Bergeron serves as the Senior Director of Utilization Review and Care Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield Louisiana (Louisiana Blue). She brings a wealth of experience to this position, having served in leadership roles since joining Louisiana Blue in 2013. Her background as a registered nurse, advanced training in public health programs and understanding of healthcare policy and legislation development give her a unique perspective on the clinical and administrative aspects of care delivery.
In her 12 years at Louisiana Blue, Tasha and her team have consistently demonstrated excellence in fulfilling our mission to improve the health and lives of Louisianians. Tasha and the clinical team who work with her are often the face and voice of our company for members who are going through a serious health crisis, diagnosed with a long-term condition or who need a helping hand to navigate their care services. The compassion and dedication that Tasha and her team bring to their work is truly making a difference and demonstrating to Louisiana Blue members that their experience is a priority.
Previously, Tasha served as the Health Policy Manager at the Department of Health and Hospitals’. She was responsible for advising the executive leadership team on policies related to federal health legislation, innovative technologies, and initiatives to improve the health outcomes.
Tasha has over 20 years of experience in health care. She has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Tasha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dillard University and a Master of Science in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
