Heidi is Senior Director, Coverage and Payment of Global Health Economics and Reimbursement (GHER) at Edwards Lifesciences supporting the Transcatheter Heart Valves (THV) business unit. In this position, Heidi guides strategy of the US coverage and payment policy team. She started her career at Edwards on the health economics and reimbursement field team. In this role her extensive collaboration with her colleagues drove the successful launch of the SAPIEN transcatheter technologies at hospitals on the East Coast.
Heidi began her career at Humana where she negotiated health system agreements and managed provider relations for Medicare Advantage and commercial insurance lines throughout multiple US markets. Prior to joining Edwards in 2011, Heidi worked at Ethicon Endo Surgery, a division of Johnson & Johnson where she was a member of the health policy and economics team working directly with payers, including employer stakeholders educating them on the economic and clinical value of less-invasive (surgical) procedures including bariatric procedures.
Heidi holds an undergraduate degree in business and healthcare administration from Ohio University.
